Duties: Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Marine and Small Engine Mechanic to join our team, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing marine vessels, snowmobiles, ATV's and UTV's and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, with a focus on ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of marine and small engine operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and contribute to excellence in a dynamic environment. For the right individual, Snowmobile Tour guiding at Silver Star Mountain Resort in the winter months may be an option.

* Perform routine inspections and maintenance on marine and small engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary equipment
* Conduct repairs using hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical tools
* Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
* Utilize engine manufacturer specifications for diagnostics and repairs
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs for compliance purposes
* Collaborate with the customer service team to address client concerns and ensure satisfaction
* Conduct repair tasks as needed for recreational vehicles or equipment onboard

Requirements:

* Proven experience in mechanical repair, electrical systems on marine and small engines
* Mechanical knowledge of marine and small engines engines, propulsion systems, and schematics interpretation
* Experience driving a forklift would be an asset but not required
* Excellent customer service skills for engaging with clients and team members
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
* Relevant certifications in or marine and small engines are desirable
